Raipur, 21 August (HS). Police has taken major action in the firing case in Telibandha area of the capital Raipur. Raipur Police team has arrested the main shooter Sagar alias Title (21 years) from Bathinda, Punjab. His partner is still absconding. The crime branch team arrested the accused and reached Raipur on Wednesday, where he is being questioned. Many big revelations are expected in this interrogation. So far, the police have arrested 10 accused in this case from Punjab and Jharkhand.
It is noteworthy that earlier the police had arrested Amandeep Singh of Aman Sahu Gang from Punjab. Amandeep also has a connection with Aman Sahu Gang of Jharkhand. According to the information received, the accused handler Amandeep had arranged motorcycles and money for the shooters. On July 13, in broad daylight, shooters riding motorcycles had fired outside the office of PRA Group. PRA Group has taken a contract of 810 crores for road construction in Jharkhand. The shooting was done to extort money from it. While taking action in the shooting case, the police formed a special team in Jharkhand and Punjab and took action. In this action, the police has arrested 10 accused from both the states so far.
