Jodhpur, 7 December (Hindustan Reporter). The 60th foundation day of Border Security Force (BSF), the country’s largest paramilitary force, will be celebrated on Sunday at BSF’s training center in Mandore, Jodhpur. Preparations for the main function have been completed. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Jodhpur to participate in it as the chief guest. During the ceremony, seven soldiers will be awarded gallantry medals for bravery.
This time the 60th foundation day of BSF, which guards the country’s 6386 kilometer long border, is being organized in Jodhpur. The main parade will include indigenous helicopters Dhruv and MI 17, which will roar in salute over the parade ground along with the national flag and flags of security forces. In the programme, Police Medal for Gallantry will be given to seven soldiers who countered Pakistan’s firing in Jammu in 2020. This includes constables Avnish Kumar, Mohammad Baqibullah Haq, Anil Sharma, Avtar Singh, Raju Choudhary, B Ramanujay, Anil Yadav. While fighting, he killed the terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen.
Constable Amit Kumar Singh will be awarded the Jeevan Raksha Medal. The officers will also receive President and Police medals. Home Minister Amit Shah will come to Jodhpur tonight at 9.30 pm. They will stay for the night at BSF guest house. Will participate in Raising Day Parade at BSF Training Center STC on Sunday.
Will unveil the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will unveil the 11-feet tall statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel outside the Circuit House at 1.30 pm after participating in the Raising Day Parade at the STC BSF Training Center on Sunday. This statue was installed outside the Circuit House this morning after formal chanting of mantras. During this, Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar, City MLA Atul Bhansali and many public representatives and officials were present. Later, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also visited the venue and took stock of the arrangements. City District President Devendra Salecha said that BJP will put up party flags and hoardings on the Circuit House Road on behalf of Jodhpur city to welcome Shah.
