Mahua Moitra is in trouble again! Now an FIR has been filed in this case

FIR against Mahua Moitra : FIR against Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra for using abusive language. (FIR) A case has been registered under Section 79 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) i.e. insulting the dignity of a woman. Mahua Moitra is accused of making abusive comments against National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma in a post on a social media site.

The Women's Commission had given a complaint to the Delhi Police on Friday (July 5). The Special Cell has registered a case on Sunday i.e. today, July 7, and started investigation. The Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the Delhi Police Special Cell will now obtain information about the social media platform X handle from which abusive language was used against Rekha Sharma.

What is the matter?

In fact, recently Women's Commission Chairperson Rekha Sharma had reached the spot regarding the Hathras incident. A video of this has surfaced on social media. On Thursday, Mahua Moitra commented on the video of Rekha Sharma reaching the Hathras stampede site. In the video, a man is seen walking behind Rekha Sharma and that man was holding an umbrella. The video has been shared on the social media platform X, in which a social media user raised the question and wrote that why Rekha Sharma cannot lift her umbrella.

What did Mahua Moitra say?

In response to this comment, Mahua Moitra said, “She (Rekha Sharma) is very busy handling her boss's pajamas.” Now a controversy has arisen over this. A case has been registered and Delhi's Special Cell is investigating it.
