Prayagraj, 11 April (HS). Bharatiya Janata Party Metropolitan Scheduled Tribe and Backward Class Morcha celebrated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and paid tribute to him. Chief guest BJP Metropolitan President Rajendra Mishra said that Mahatma Jyotiba Phule was a great social reformer.
In a program organized on Thursday at the Civil Lines office, the Metropolitan President said that during his time, he made tireless efforts for the upliftment of Dalits and the underprivileged as well as women. Due to his efforts, awareness about education increased among women.
