Mahashivratri festival celebrated with devotion in Shiv temple Kotli Amit Shah Dulla

RS Pura, 8 March (Hindustan Reporter). The holy festival of Mahashivratri was celebrated with pomp and devotion in RS Pura area on Friday. The festival of Mahashivratri was celebrated with joy and religious devotion at Shiv Temple Kotli Shah Dulla.

Shiva marriage started in the morning in the temple and after that special puja and bhandara was started. On this occasion, temple committee chief Suraj Prakash Pappu, Ajay Shastri and Ganesh Shastri and other officials of the temple committee were also present who contributed towards Mahashivratri.

On this occasion, dignitaries of the area including Mahant Rajesh Bittu also reached the temple and received the blessings of Lord Bholenath. On this occasion, Mahant Rajesh Bittu congratulated all the countrymen on Mahashivratri and said that today, like all over the country, in Jammu and Kashmir, the festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated with pomp and joy and they too are advised to visit different temples of the region. Opportunity has been given and along with enthusiasm, reverence is also being seen among the people.

On this occasion, Pradhan Suraj Prakash said that better arrangements were made for the devotees by the temple committee. He said that the devotees performed water consecration and took blessings of Lord Bholenath. Strict security arrangements were also made on this occasion.
