How to make a bail offer
There is a tradition of offering Belpatra to Lord Shiva. For this, wash the Belpatra with clean water. After this, if you want, you can also write 'Om' with saffron or sandalwood. After this, offer the soft side to Shivlinga. The raised part should be upward.
If you don't have a passport then do this
If for some reason you are not able to get Belpatra, then take the Belpatra offered on Shivling and wash it with clean water or Ganga water and offer it. Doing this will also yield auspicious results.
