Maharashtra government issued dress code for teachers, banned jeans-T-shirt

Maharashtra government has implemented a new order for school teachers. The government has now issued dress code for teachers. This dress code includes many restrictions. According to the dress code issued by the government, now teachers will not have to wear jeans, T-shirts, designer and printed clothes. The government has issued a notification for this. In the notification issued, it has been said that teachers should be cautious about their attire. Improper clothing of teachers can have a negative impact on school going children.

According to the guidelines issued by the government, separate dress codes have been implemented for men and women. First of all, talking about the dress code for women, female teachers will not be allowed to wear jeans, T-shirts and clothes with dark colors or designs or prints. It has also been said that female teachers should wear kurta-dupatta and salwar or churidar. Female teachers can also wear saree. Male teachers have been advised to wear shirts and pants, in which the shirt should not be outside and the pants should be inside.

It has also been clarified that this rule will apply not only to teachers of government schools but also to teachers of private schools. However, teachers have opposed this. The government has also made it clear that the dress code has been made keeping in mind that the dress of teachers does not have a negative impact on the students.
