Many revelations have come from the suicide note of Mukti Ranjan Roy, the main suspect in the Bengaluru murder case. According to the police, Mahalakshmi was allegedly pressurizing Mukti Ranjan for marriage.
Now many secrets are coming to light regarding the murder of a woman named Mahalakshmi in Bengaluru. Mukti Ranjan Roy, the main accused in this murder case, committed suicide by hanging himself in Bhadrak district of Odisha. Bhadrak Superintendent of Police Varun Guntupalli said that the accused is a resident of Bhuinpur village and the police have also recovered a diary from the spot in which Mukti Ranjan has confessed to killing the woman.

In the suicide note found by the police, Mukti Ranjan has written that after killing Mahalakshmi, she cut her body into more than 50 pieces. Referring to the suicide note, Bengaluru Police said that there was a love affair between the accused Mukti Ranjan Pratap Rai and Mahalakshmi. According to the police, Mahalakshmi was allegedly pressurizing Mukti Ranjan for marriage, due to which there were frequent fights between the two and hence the accused murdered her.

In the suicide note found by the police, accused Mukti Ranjan Roy has written that, I was fed up with Mahalakshmi's behaviour. I used to fight with him over personal matters and these fights used to happen on a regular basis. The accused wrote, Mahalakshmi used to threaten to implicate me in a kidnapping case.
Earlier, the Karnataka government had sent a team to Odisha to arrest the accused in the Bengaluru murder case and solve the case. Police sent four teams there. According to the police, the accused was often running away by changing his place. Mahalakshmi was murdered in a building in Bengaluru's Malleshwaram area and her body was cut into more than 50 pieces, which were found in a fridge.
