Prayagraj, 29 February (HS). In comparison to the previous Kumbh, a proposal is being made to install almost twice as many cameras in the fair area in Mahakumbh 2025. Under this, the entire fair area will be covered with about 950 cameras. It will also have 120 parking lots. Artificial Intelligence based video analytics will be used to get better feed from the cameras. Due to which better crowd management analysis can be done.
In order to further improve crowd management and security and surveillance in Maha Kumbh 2025, a meeting was held in the Triveni Auditorium located at the Commissioner's office under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant and in the presence of Fair Officer Kumbh Vijay Kiran Anand, regarding the upgradation of the Integrated Command and Control Center. In which some important points related to the sublimation of I Triple C were discussed. Regarding the upgradation of I Triple C, vetting was done from IIT Kanpur, after which a proposal for upgradation is being made by incorporating the technical observations given by them.
By using this model, it will be easier for the administration to safely evacuate people from crowded places and make better arrangements for crowd management on crowded roads. In order to make this model fool proof, a dry run will be run in advance and every type of error testing will be done so that no problem arises during the Maha Kumbh.
The call center running in Triple C during Mahakumbh will also be expanded. Under which it will be increased from 30 to 50 seater. Apart from this, there is a proposal to increase the viewing centers from two to four. Apart from I Triple C and Modern Control Room Police Line MCR (CCC), one viewing center each will also be built in Jhunsi and Arail areas.
