Madhya Pradesh has become the stronghold of Bharatiya Janata Party – Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla

Bhopal, July 12 (HS). Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Rajendra Shukla while addressing a press conference at the Bharatiya Janata Party state office on Friday said that the development work that was done at a fast pace in the last ten years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the reason why NDA government was formed at the center for the third time in a row and Narendra Modi, after becoming the Prime Minister for the third time, is taking the country's development forward rapidly. At the same time, this time a record has been made by winning all 29 seats in the state. The party will try to keep this record forever in every election. In the assembly elections, the party had won 163 seats due to the development work of the double engine government. Be it assembly elections or Lok Sabha elections, we were confident that due to the public welfare schemes of the Center and the state, we will get a huge victory in the elections and this is what happened. Madhya Pradesh has now become a stronghold of BJP.

The state budget will be Rs 7 lakh crore after 5 years

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that on July 3, the state government presented a budget of more than 3 lakh 65 thousand crores. This was an increase of 16 percent compared to the previous budget. In the coming five years, the size of the budget will reach 7 lakh crores. When such a budget comes, the infrastructure becomes strong. Earlier there was a shortage of funds for development works and this was a big challenge in our state. We can never forget that this is the same state which did not even have the budget to fill the potholes in the roads before 2003 and there used to be overdraft. After our government came to power in the state, continuous work was done for development, the result of which is that historic work has been done in infrastructure. Now all the divisional headquarters have four-lane roads that have become world class. He said that this year's budget of the Madhya Pradesh government will make an important contribution in fulfilling the resolution of making India developed by 2047.

The state government worked rapidly in the field of agriculture

Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that when our government was formed, 7 lakh hectares were irrigated. Today 47 lakh hectares are being irrigated. In the coming 2 years, it will increase from 47 lakh to 60 lakh hectares and in 5 years, irrigation water will reach one crore hectares. The government has worked very fast in this direction in the agriculture sector and the state has received the Krishi Karman Award six times in a row. The place that Punjab and Haryana used to get once, has started getting to Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, the government of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has set a target of providing irrigation water to one crore hectares in the coming 5 years.

Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead in the field of education, health and tourism

There are 14 medical colleges in the state and three will start from this session in Neemuch, Mandsaur and Seoni. 6 new medical colleges will start from next year. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's government has decided to invite private capital investors in the PPP model. In the coming time, these medical colleges will be attached to district hospitals at some places. He said that there are immense possibilities in the field of tourism in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has done many works to promote tourism. Tourism has increased manifold due to the formation of Mahakal Lok. Along with Ram Van Gaman Path, now Shri Krishna Gaman Path is being built.
