Bhopal, 26 November (HS). 33 thousand 138 houses have been sanctioned to Madhya Pradesh by the Union Rural Development Ministry under the Pradhan Mantri Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan (PM Jan-Man). Under PM Jan-Mann, ‘Pucca Houses’ are being built by the Ministry of Rural Development, especially for Vulnerable and Backward Tribal Group (PVTG) families. This special approval has been given by the Ministry by giving the gift of permanent houses to PVTG families living in 21 districts of the state.
Giving information on Tuesday, Public Relations Officer Ghanshyam Sirsam said that Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation, has asked the Central Rural Development and Agriculture and Rural Development Department to sanction a large number of PM residences to Madhya Pradesh. Expressed gratitude to Farmer Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. These PM residences have been approved for Madhya Pradesh on 25th November.
He told that by the Union Rural Development Ministry, Sheopur district has been given 7561, Shivpuri 5154, Umaria 4092, Shahdol 2591, Ashoknagar 2294, Guna 2084, Singrauli 1895, Dindori 1532, Anuppur 1522, Sidhi 1042, Mandla 903, Morena 695, 29 PM houses have been sanctioned to Vidisha 448, Balaghat 401, Gwalior 266, Chhindwara 202, Narsinghpur 158, Seoni 117, Datia 110, Jabalpur 42 and Raisen district. Approval of 1 lakh 44 thousand 200 PM houses has already been given to Madhya Pradesh. Thus, till now 1 lakh 77 thousand 338 PM houses have been approved in Madhya Pradesh.
Under PM Jan-Mann, various types of development and beneficial works are being done by the Central Government for the overall development of PVTG families living in 24 districts of the state. Under PM Jan-Mann’s ‘Sabko Pucca Ghar’, pucca houses of all PVTG families are being built and electrification is also being done in these houses.
