Bhopal, 15 October (HS). M. Q. Government's backward class list no. Efforts to remove caste groups Kahar, Bhoi, Dhimar, Kevat, Sailor, Mallah, Nishad, Keer, Sodhia, Batham, Burman, Raikwar, Singrahe etc. from the backward class list are currently gaining momentum in the Majhi fishermen community of the state. Due to discussions, a top group of Fishermen Congress under the leadership of Fishermen Congress State President Sadashiv Bhanwariya met Backward Classes Commission Chairman Ramkrishna Kusmaria in Bhopal on Tuesday and handed over a letter saying that all these castes, Majhi Scheduled Tribes, registered at number 12 in the backward class list are Our people have been trying for years to remove them from the backward class list and include them with the Majhi Scheduled Caste, but at present no initiative is being taken by the government to include these castes in the Scheduled Caste list. But meanwhile, some people are running a campaign that these castes should be removed from the backward class list, but they are saying that no such indication is being received either from the government or from these castes that these castes will be removed from number 12.
