Public Relations Officer Pooja Thapak said that Madhai Bison Resort in Narmadapuram district has got the first position in the country under the “Cleanliness Green Leaf Rating System” for hospitality facilities. Five Green Leaf Rating Certificate was presented to Madhai Bison Resort (MPT) by Narmadapuram Collector and District Archeology Tourism Culture Council President Sonia Meena and Narmadapuram District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer SS Rawat on Friday.

It is noteworthy that as per the instructions of the State Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), Bhopal, the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, has launched the “Green Leaf Rating System” for cleanliness in hospitality facilities like resorts, homestays, dharamshala etc. in the country. , in which Swachh Green Leaf Rating is issued under the Swachh Bharat Mission. In this, the concerned resort and hotel submits its application after self-assessment on various parameters of cleanliness. After this, the declared cleanliness parameters are verified by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of SDM. On the basis of which, rating from leaf one to leaf five is given by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the collector. The above rating certificate given to the resort/hotel is given as a result of the hospitality facility voluntarily participating in the Clean Green Leaf Rating System and making commendable contribution in promoting clean tourism. It is noteworthy that Narmadapuram district has chosen tourism in the “One District One Product” category. This achievement of the district will boost the tourism sector.
