Mahoba, 05 October (Hindustan Reporter). The land of Veer Bhoomi Bundelkhand is a more sacred pilgrimage than the other. One of them, Madaran Devi, is situated on the high Vindhya mountain in a dense forest at a distance of about 18 kilometers from the district headquarters. This place is one of the most ancient and famous Shaktipeeths of entire Bundelkhand. Mother fulfills the wishes of all her devotees.

In Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, Mother Madaran Devi is seated under the open sky in the middle of a dense forest on the high Vindhya mountains in Vaishnav form. Where hundreds of devotees come with their wishes to have darshan of the mother. All the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled just by seeing the mother.

According to the priest of the temple, Mata Prasad Tiwari, there used to be a dense forest here hundreds of years ago. Where tribal people named Mandaran lived. Who had unwavering faith in his mother and used to worship her with devotion. The temple is named Madaran Devi Temple after the name of this tribal tribe. Devotees get well-being just by seeing Siddhapeeth Maa Madaran Mata.

It is believed that Mother Madaran Devi considers the roof above her throne as prohibited. Due to which even after centuries the roof has not been put on the temple. Despite being seated under the open sky for hundreds of years, there has been no change in the form of the Mother Goddess. Mother Madaran Devi, seated in Vaishnav form in the dense forest, is considered to be the worshipable goddess of the Chandelas.

The wall built after working all day was found fallen when reached the next morning. This happened not once or twice but three times.
