The broadcast started on LCD TV after 7 pm and after a few minutes the swearing-in ceremony started to be shown. People walking on the road were looking for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the TV screen. Seeing Prime Minister Narendra Modi coming to take oath, the enthusiasm of the people standing on the road increased. People started shouting slogans loudly on the road. Within a few minutes the entire atmosphere became BJP-oriented.
After a few minutes, when Rajnath Singh appeared on the LCD screen, slogans of Jai Shri Ram started being heard on the streets of Lucknow. People kept looking at the screen with rapt attention until Rajnath Singh, who had won from the Lucknow parliamentary constituency, took oath.
