  • Kolkata: ₹968.00 per cylinder

  • Chennai: ₹957.50 per cylinder

  • Gurugram (Haryana): ₹950.50 per cylinder

  • Bengaluru: ₹944.50 per cylinder

  • Hyderabad: ₹994.00 per cylinder

What are the prices of LPG in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan?

Retail prices of gas cylinders vary across states and districts due to differences in local freight charges and state level taxes (VAT):

  • Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi): The price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder in Lucknow remains stable at ₹979.50. Whereas in Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi the prices remain around ₹ 980.

  • Bihar (Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur): In Patna, the capital of Bihar, the price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder is running at ₹ 1,031.50. Due to distance and taxes, the rates in Bihar are slightly higher than other plain states of the country.

  • Rajasthan (Jaipur, Jodhpur): Domestic LPG cylinder price in Gulabi Nagar Jaipur is ₹945.50 per cylinder.

  • Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal, Indore): Domestic LPG is available in the range of ₹947.50 to ₹950.00 in Bhopal and Indore.

The prices of 19 kg blue commercial gas cylinders used in hotels, restaurants, dhabas and small commercial establishments are as follows in the local markets:

  • New Delhi: ₹2,738.00 per cylinder

  • Mumbai: ₹2,691.50 per cylinder

  • Kolkata: ₹2,872.50 per cylinder

  • Chennai: ₹2,906.00 per cylinder

  • Lucknow: ₹2,860.50 per cylinder

  • Patna: ₹3,018.00 per cylinder

LPG prices in India are decided on the basis of Import Parity Price (IPP). The base price is determined by taking into account international benchmarks such as Saudi Aramco LPG contract price (CP), global crude oil movements, exchange rate of Indian Rupee against US Dollar, ocean freight and refinery processing costs.
