There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder
This deduction is only for commercial LPG cylinders. There has been no change of any kind in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders by the government. The prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain the same in other small and big cities of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
What is the price of domestic LPG cylinder in big cities?
A 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is available for Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai. To provide relief to the general public from inflation, the government has reduced the prices of domestic LPG cylinders almost twice in the last 6 months. Last i.e. on March 9, the government had reduced the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 100. At the same time, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a reduction of Rs 200 was announced in the price of domestic LPG cylinder.
