During this period, companies can revise the prices of 5 kg, 10 kg composite, 14.2 kg domestic and 19 kg commercial cylinders.

Expectation of relief from softening of crude oil: Know when the prices increased or decreased

Due to the huge decline in crude oil prices in the international market, consumers are expected to get relief in LPG rates this time. Recently the price of Brent crude has fallen by more than 6% to below $88 per barrel. If we look at the previous record of LPG prices, on July 1, 2026, oil companies had made a huge reduction in the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by ₹ 183.50, which provided direct relief to hotel and restaurant operators. Whereas, earlier on June 7, an increase of ₹ 29 was recorded in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. Since OMCs review the market on the 1st of every month, the entire country’s eyes are on the next rate list.
