According to the order issued by the Finance Department, in view of the global oil prices, the Government of Pakistan has decided to increase the prices of petrol and diesel. The government has increased the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 3.29 and Rs 3.72 respectively. After this decision of the government, now the price of petrol in Pakistan has increased from Rs 248 to Rs 252 10 paise. At the same time, the price of high speed diesel has increased to Rs 258 43 paise. The government has said in its order that this order will be applicable to the entire country.
Bumper increase in gas cylinder prices also
Let us tell you that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Saturday announced the increase in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across Pakistan for December. According to an official notification from OGRA, OGRA has increased the price of LPG by PKR 1.32 per kg, taking the new price to PKR 254.30, reports Express Tribune. The new price of 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder will now be PKR 3,079. The price of the same cylinder in November was 2,999.47 Pakistani rupees, which shows an upward adjustment of 79.53 Pakistani rupees.
