Kathmandu, August 29 (HS). A case of love jihad has also come to light in Nepal. A married Muslim youth deceived a Hindu girl and married her and killed her after five months of marriage. This case is from Hetauda in Makawanpur district where the youth fled after killing his wife in a hotel room.
Makwanpur police said that a blood-soaked body of a young woman was found in Ratna Hotel in Hetauda. According to the police, the body found in the hotel room is of Elisha Nyupane who had come to stay in the hotel last evening with her husband. According to the records registered in the hotel, Sameer Khan and his wife Elisha had come to stay in the hotel. Where she was murdered.
The CCTV footage of the hotel shows both of them entering the hotel at 6 pm and the woman's husband Sameer Khan coming out alone at around 9 pm. Makwanpur Police DSP Lakshmi Bhandari said that the deceased Elisha has a deep injury on her head and a broken beer bottle was found in the room. She said that the accused husband killed his wife by hitting her with a beer bottle.
The family of the deceased girl Elisha came to know after a long time that her husband Sameer Khan was already married, after which there were quarrels between the two. Her uncle Ganesh Bahadur Khatri, who brought up the deceased girl, said that after knowing about Sameer Khan's first wife, there were a lot of quarrels between the two.
According to the police, they have received audio video of a fight between Elisha and Sameer Khan's family members in which a woman from Sameer Khan's family has said to go to the place from where he brought her and kill her. Elisha was killed the same night. DSP Bhandari said that Sameer Khan is absconding after the murder incident. Some of his family members have been taken under control and interrogation is going on and soon Sameer will also be arrested.
