Meerut, 17 April (HS). Training was given to polling parties at Meerut Public Girls School on Wednesday for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections. Absentee polling personnel will be given training on Thursday.
For the second phase of elections in Meerut Public Girls School, 756 polling parties were trained by 182 master trainers through 42 training rooms, in which 182 polling personnel remained absent. Absent personnel have been given another opportunity to undergo training. He can take training again in the same college on Thursday. Otherwise an FIR will be lodged against everyone under various sections of the Representation of the People Act. Apart from this, postal ballot and EDC facilitation centers of five assemblies were created, through which postal ballots were conducted and EDCs were issued to the personnel. CDO Nupur Goyal, District Agriculture Officer Rajiv Kumar etc. were present on this occasion.
General Observer inspected Meerut Public Girls School
Meerut Public Girls School, Meerut (Training Centre/Voting Facility Centre) was inspected by Gurinder Pal Singh Sahuta, General Observer of Meerut Lok Sabha constituency. He along with the concerned officials inspected the second training of polling personnel and postal ballot facility centres. At the time of inspection, the training program was going on as per the guard lines of the Election Commission of India. Similarly, voting was found to be taking place through postal ballot at postal ballot facility centres. On this occasion, Joint Magistrate Shruti Sharma, Trainee IAS Narayani, Sujit Kumar, Rajeev Kumar etc. were present.
