Jhansi, 03 May (Hindus). Friday was the last date for filing nomination papers for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections-2024. 21 candidates are contesting for Jhansi-Lalitpur Lok Sabha seat. On the last day on Friday, 4 people filed nominations. Apart from this, Congress candidate Pradeep Jain submitted the third and fourth sets and BSP candidate Ravi Prakash submitted the third set. All nomination papers will be scrutinized on Saturday i.e. 4th May. Candidates will be given a chance to withdraw their nominations on May 6. After this the final list of candidates will be revealed. Voting will be held in Jhansi and Lalitpur on May 20. Whereas on May 4, counting of votes will take place simultaneously in the entire country.
