Lord Jagannath's chariot reached the temple for repair, fair will be held on July 17

Alwar, July 9 (HS). Like every year, the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath Ji Maharaj is taken out in Alwar. Preparations for the Rath Yatra have begun with Ganesh Puja. On Tuesday, the chariot of Lord Sitaram Ji Maharaj was taken out from the Rathkhana located in Chudi Market and the Indra Vimana Rath of Lord Jagannath Ji was taken out from Mahal Chowk. Both the chariots have been brought to the temple. Here the work of repairing the chariots will be done before the Rath Yatra.

Mahant Dharmendra Sharma of Jagannath Temple said that on 14th July at 6 pm, the procession of Lord Sitaram ji Maharaj will reach the fair site Roopwas from the Jagannath Temple located at Subhash Chowk. On 15th July at 6 pm, the procession of Lord Jagannath will leave for the fair site Roopwas from the Jagannath Temple located at Subhash Chowk. There will be a fair in Roopwas on 17th July. The procession of Shubh Janaki Maiya and Kalash Yatra will be taken out while at 10 pm, Varmala Mahotsav will be organized in Roopwas. On 19th July, Lord Jagannath will return to Subhash Chowk after marrying Janaki Maiya. The entire city will turn out to see this Rath Yatra. The city dwellers will welcome the Rath Yatra with open arms.
