East Champaran, 03 October (HS). In Ramgarhwa district, masked criminals riding a bike looted Rs 2 lakh from Central Bank CSP operator Chandan Sah at gunpoint and fled.
As soon as information about the incident was received, SP Swarn Prabhat formed SIT under the leadership of Raxaul DSP Dhirendra Kumar. DSP and police station incharge Amarjeet Kumar reached the spot after the incident and started investigating the matter. In connection with the incident, Chandan Kumar, son of CSP operator Manoj Sah, resident of Shivnagar Satpipara, who was the victim of robbery, said that he operates the CSP of Central Bank at Bhatwalia Chowk of Ramgarhwa police station area.
On Thursday, Ramgarhwa was going from his home to the CSP office on a motorcycle with two lakh rupees in his bag. On the way, three criminals riding on an Apache bike stopped him near Pantoka Canal. One criminal was sitting on a bike and two criminals were standing on the road. The mouths of all three were covered with masks. In this, one criminal put a pistol on Chandan's temple and the other easily snatched the bag containing the money by threatening him with a knife. After which the three criminals fled through the road leading to the college.
The bike of the criminals who caused the incident did not have a registration number marked on it and AC was written on the front. At present the police is engaged in technical investigation of the case.
