Maharashtra Election Updates: Maharashtra Assembly elections are becoming interesting. In which the parties contesting elections under the alliance are having to struggle for nomination. Madhurima Raje Malojiraj Bhosale, the official candidate of Congress from Kolhapur seat, has withdrawn her nomination papers. Congress first wanted to field Rajesh Latkar on Kolhapur seat, but later his ticket was canceled and Madhurima Raje was given the chance. But before the elections he withdrew his candidature.

Internal strife in the party is responsible

The reason behind Madhurima Raje's withdrawal of candidature is the ongoing internal strife in the party. Rajesh Latkar has also called for rebellion. After the withdrawal of Madhurima Raje's name, there will now be a direct contest between Rajesh Latkar and the candidate from Eknath Shinde's party Shiv Sena.

Why did you withdraw your candidature?

Madhurima Bhosale, daughter-in-law of Kolhapur MP Shahu Maharaj, has withdrawn her nomination papers, accepting defeat even before contesting the elections. Since Rajesh Latkar did not get the seat from Congress on Kolhapur North seat, he has filed his candidature as an independent candidate. In such a situation, seeing the popularity of Rajesh Latkar, Madhurima has put a full stop to the possibility of winning.

Attack on Mahim seat also

Candidates of Eknath Shinde's party Shiv Sena from Mahim seat of Mumbai are also trying to withdraw their names. Sada Sarvalkar is contesting on this seat. He wants to withdraw his candidature because he wants to support Raj Thackeray's son Amit Thackeray. Today he also went to meet Raj Thackeray on this issue. But the meeting could not take place.
