Lok Sabha proceedings adjourned indefinitely

New Delhi, July 2 (HS). The Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned indefinitely on Tuesday after passing a motion of thanks on the President's address.

Today, the Leader of the House and Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the discussion on the President's address. During this, the opposition created a ruckus over not giving time to an MP from Manipur. The Defense Minister put forward a proposal condemning the opposition's act of creating noise during the Prime Minister's address, which was approved by the Home Minister and later the House passed it by voice vote.

While presenting the proposal, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that while the Prime Minister was addressing the gathering, the way the parliamentary decorum was constantly violated by the opposition, I propose that the entire House condemns this act. The Defence Minister's proposal was seconded by Home Minister Amit Shah. After this, the proposal was approved by the Lok Sabha by voice vote.
