After joining RLD, Malook Nagar said, I have been in BSP since 2006. This is a historical record because no one remained in BSP for 18 years. In BSP, people are expelled from the party or leave the party. I did not contest the MLA elections in 2022 nor did I contest the MP elections in 2024. It is not right to sit at home and not work for the country.

Maluk Nagar contested the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from Meerut on a BSP ticket but lost. In the year 2014, he contested parliamentary elections from Bijnor, where he was defeated. He had won from Bijnor in the last Lok Sabha elections. This time too he was hopeful of getting a ticket from here but the party dashed his hopes. This time the party has given ticket to Vijendra Singh from here. Nagar was angry at not getting the ticket.
