During a press conference held in Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray said, “Efforts are on, but we do not need to make more efforts because people have shown their willingness to fulfill the 'Tadipar' slogan that I had given. Have decided.”

Regarding PM Modi's meeting, Uddhav Thackeray said, 'Prime Minister Modi came to Maharashtra yesterday (April 8). Firstly, yesterday there was a solar eclipse, Amavasya and PM Modi's meeting also took place. Start election campaigning, it is good for one party it will not matter. If we are criticizing him (PM Modi) then remember that we are not criticizing the Prime Minister of the country but we are criticizing a leader of the 'corrupt Janata Party'. 'That means BJP.'

Let us tell you that Shiv Sena-Uddhav faction has announced candidates for all its 21 seats. Whereas Congress has announced 13 candidates. Whereas NCP-Sharad Pawar has fielded candidates on 7 seats.
