New Delhi: Lok Sabha Elections: Nomination for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 will start from Friday (April 12). In this phase, voting will be held on 94 Lok Sabha seats in 12 states on May 7. Which includes 26 seats of Gujarat.
Nominations will be filed for the third phase till April 19
The last date for filing nominations for the third phase of elections is April 19. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is 22 April. States where voting is going to be held in the third phase. These include Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadra-Nagar-Haveli, Daman and Diu, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
Lok Sabha elections are being held in seven phases. The first phase of voting will take place on April 19. Voting is to be held on April 26 for the second phase, May 7 for the third phase, May 13 for the fourth phase, May 20 for the fifth phase, May 25 for the sixth phase and June 1 for the seventh and final phase. The result will be declared on June 4.
When and how many seats will vote?
Voting is to be held on 107 seats in the first phase of the next Lok Sabha elections on April 19. In the second phase, voting will be held on 89 seats on April 26. The third phase of voting will be held on 7 May for 94 seats. Voting for the fourth phase will be held on 96 seats on May 13.
The fifth phase of elections will be held on May 20, in which voting will be held on 49 seats. The sixth phase of voting will be held on May 25, during which voting will be held on 57 seats. In the seventh and final phase, voting will be held on 57 Lok Sabha seats on June 1.
