Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Congress announced the sixth list of candidates, know who got the ticket

New Delhi: Congress has announced the sixth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. There are names of total 5 candidates in this list. Names of 5 candidates from Rajasthan have been announced in this list.

There are five names in the list revealed on the day of Holi, out of which four are from Rajasthan, while one is from Tamil Nadu. The names of five candidates have been announced by the Congress Party.

These candidates will contest elections against Nitin Gadkari

Congress has also announced candidates for Maharashtra. Vikas Thackeray will contest against Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur seat of the state. Raman Bhalla from Jammu and Lal Singh from Udhampur, who recently joined Congress, have got tickets. The ticket of Deepak Baij, the sitting MP from Bastar, has been canceled and ticket has been given to Kawasi Lakhma. Similarly, Harish Rawat's son Virendra Rawat has been made candidate from Haridwar and Prakash Joshi from Nainital. The party has fielded Karti Chidambaram from Sivagangai in Tamil Nadu and Manickam Tagore from Virudhunagar.

These seats were left for the Allies

In Rajasthan, Nagaur seat was left for Hanuman Beniwal, Sikar seat was left by Congress for CPM. Let us tell you that Lok Sabha elections are to be held in seven phases. The first phase of voting is to be held on April 19, while the seventh and final phase of voting will be held on June 1. The result will be declared on June 4.

Voting for 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat will be held on May 7. Counting of votes in all states including Gujarat will take place on June 4.
