Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Can Mayawati become the PM candidate of IND alliance? Learn Mathematics

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Before the announcement of the dates of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the electoral war has started between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the IND alliance. BJP aims to win all 80 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh. IND alliance is organizing the program considering every aspect to compete with BJP.

At such a time, there is a discussion going on about the IND alliance contacting Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati and it is being claimed that the India alliance is making Mayawati its prime ministerial candidate. Now the question is whether Mayawati will really be the PM candidate of IND alliance?

Let us tell you that in some media reports regarding Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party, it was claimed that India Alliance has secretly convinced the BSP supremo to contest the elections with India Alliance against PM Modi and NDA.

Along with this it was claimed that India Alliance is going to make Mayawati the Prime Ministerial candidate! Amid discussions about Mayawati's closeness to the IND alliance, the BSP supremo issued her statement on Saturday, putting an end to all such speculations and making it clear what is in her mind. Along with this, he has also issued a statement regarding the preparation of the third front in the elections.

Mayawati shared two posts one after the other on Instagram, in which she said, BSP is fighting the general elections of Lok Sabha in the country with full preparation and strength. In such a situation, spreading rumors about electoral alliance or third front etc. is fake news. The media is not losing its credibility by showing such stormy news. People should also be careful.

In another post, Mayawati wrote that especially in UP, the opposition is feeling very restless because BSP is fighting the elections alone with great strength. Therefore, every day they try to mislead people by spreading various kinds of rumours, but in the interest of society, Bahujan BSP's decision to contest the elections alone is firm.

It is noteworthy that earlier, BSP supremo Mayawati, while criticizing Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh, who is part of the IND alliance, had given a statement that she will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections alone.

Even though Mayawati has announced to contest the elections alone, experts believe that Mayawati may reverse her statement before the Lok Sabha elections and may do so before the code of conduct is implemented. Because Mayawati did exactly this in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

He surprised everyone by announcing that he would contest the elections in UP in alliance with his arch rival Samajwadi Party. At that time Mayawati had given the reason that BJP is doing corrupt and communal politics in the country, hence she has taken this decision.

This time too, the possibility of BSP's eventual defeat is high. Because, BSP had benefited from the SP-BSP alliance in 2019. He contested elections on 38 seats and won 10 seats.

In 2014, when Mayawati contested the elections alone, BSP could not win even a single seat. At such a time, the results of BSP in the UP Assembly elections held in 2022 were very disappointing, only one MLA of BSP won. In such a situation, there is a strong possibility that Mayawati will contest the 2024 elections alone.

It is noteworthy that in Uttar Pradesh, which has 80 Lok Sabha seats, SP and Congress are contesting together under the IND alliance. There is also difference of opinion between the two regarding distribution of seats.

Samajwadi Party has announced its candidates on 29 seats, while Congress has not announced its candidates on any of the 17 Lok Sabha seats falling under its seat sharing. According to Congress sources, interested Congress candidates have been asked to wait till March 12.

At such a time, BSP has also asked its coordinators to accept applications from interested candidates. Whereas BJP, which is contesting the elections with full strength, has fielded its candidates on 51 out of 80 seats in UP.
