The Supreme Court has granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal amid the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal has filled the air as soon as he came out of jail.
Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal is out of jail after 50 days. As soon as he was released from jail, he said that the country has to be saved from dictatorship.
After getting interim bail from the Supreme Court till June 1, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came out of Tihar Jail on Friday evening. As soon as Kejriwal came out, he attacked the ruling BJP government at the Centre.
In his first public comment after coming out of jail, he thanked all the judges of the Supreme Court and said that the country has to be saved from dictatorship. Addressing the party workers, he said, I had said that I will come soon.
Kejriwal said, I thank everyone…you blessed me. I want to thank the judges of the Supreme Court, it is because of them that I am in front of you today. We have to save the country from dictatorship.
The Supreme Court has granted him interim bail till June 1 for election campaigning in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case and he will have to surrender again before the Enforcement Directorate on June 2. He has got interim bail from the court only for election campaign.
As soon as he came out of jail, he got into election campaign mood and said that he is fighting against autocracy and he has to fight the battle of 140 crore people. His struggle against dictatorship will continue.
Let us tell you that Kejriwal will go to the famous Hanuman temple located in Connaught Place, Delhi at 11 am on Saturday. There will be a press conference at 1 pm. Earlier, a crowd of Aam Aadmi Party workers had gathered at Gate No. 4 of Tihar Jail to welcome him. Party leaders Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj were also present there. Not only this, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also came to receive him.
