Kaisarganj Lok Sabha Uttar Pradesh News:: BJP has not yet announced the names of candidates for 12 Lok Sabha seats. One of these seats is Kaiserganj. Brijbhushan Sharan Singh is the MP from this seat. For this reason the list has not been made public yet. Brijbhushan Sharan Singh wants to contest elections from this seat.
Due to all the controversies, BJP does not want to give him ticket this time. BJP wants to give ticket to some other member of his family. There was a clash between BJP and Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on this issue. The BJP leadership has proposed to give ticket to either Brij Bhushan's wife or son Prateek Bhushan.
However, Brijbhushan is not ready for this and rejects the proposal. According to sources, in view of Brij Bhushan's insistence, the BJP leadership is now waiting for the decision of the MP-MLA court in Delhi. Final hearing is to be held in a case of Brij Bhushan. It is possible that the decision will come on the same day. Therefore, the leadership has decided that the list of candidates for all 12 seats will be released only after the court's decision.
The seats for which candidates will be announced include Mainpuri, Rae Bareli, Ghazipur, Ballia, Bhadohi, Machhilishahr, Prayagraj, Phulpur, Kaushambi, Deoria, Firozabad and Kaiserganj. Along with the list of candidates for the 12 Lok Sabha seats, the list of candidates for the four assembly seats for which by-elections are to be held will also be released.
This includes Lucknow East, Dadraul (Shahjahanpur), Gasdi (Balrampur) and Dudhahi (Sonbhadra). Out of which BJP won three seats, while SP won in Gasdi. Lucknow East seat has become vacant due to the demise of MLA Ashutosh Tandon and Dadraul MLA Manvendra Singh. Two seats have become vacant due to the disqualification of former BJP MLA Ramdular Gond after he was convicted in a case.
