Ayodhya, 23 September. In the fourth edition of Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS-2026), along with the traditional dishes of Ayodhya, the products of MSME sector will also make their mark on the global platform. In this trade fair organized from 25 to 29 September at India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida, Ramnagari’s Kulhad Dahi-Jalebi, Khurchan Peda along with Chikankari and products related to battery manufacturing will also be displayed.
According to the list of District Industries Foundation and Entrepreneurship Development Center, under One District One Dish, Deep Narayan Maurya will present Kulhad Wali Dahi-Jalebi in Live Kitchen, while Pammi Maurya will display Peda under Food Packaging. Both are from Chhoti Devkali area. In the MSME category, Poonam Singh will participate with chikankari products from Ramnagar Dhaurahara Ayodhya and Surajkant will display products related to battery manufacturing from Mumtaznagar.
Dahi-Jalebi and Khurchan Peda symbol of cultural identity
In the context of Ayodhya, Dahi-Jalebi with Kulhad and Khurchan Peda are symbols of cultural identity, while Chikankari reflects the rich tradition of handicrafts. Industrial products such as battery manufacturing highlight the potential for local entrepreneurship and job creation. Displaying these products in the trade fair will not only attract the attention of tourists and traders but will also provide new markets, business partnerships and expansion opportunities to local MSME units. Prabhat Ranjan Shukla, Deputy Commissioner of Industries, District Industries Promotion and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Ayodhya, said that Ayodhya’s stall will be specially decorated in this trade show to be held in Greater Noida.
