Mizoram government to provide financial aid

According to PTI, Chief Minister Lal Duhoma said in his address that the government is making massive efforts for the development of the state and is going to take a big step in this regard by launching the loan scheme. Through this scheme, the government will act as a guarantor to help eligible people move forward for economic development. The CM said that there is a proposal to amend the Mizoram Government Guarantee Act, 2011, so that eligible people can get loans up to Rs 50 lakh and the government will also pay interest along with the guarantee.

The Chief Minister also mentioned this scheme

While addressing the Independence Day function, the Chief Minister informed about the launch of the interest-free loan scheme and also made many other big announcements. Under this, he said that the government will soon talk about starting the Universal Health Care Scheme. He said that the new and comprehensive health care scheme will include government employees and pensioners along with the general public.

Efforts to bring foreign investment into the state

Referring to the steps taken for the development of the state, Lalduhoma said his government had launched the Mizoram Investment Policy 2024 in February to attract investors from within and outside the state. The chief minister said his government is committed to generating new employment opportunities for the youth in procurement of agricultural or horticultural produce, food processing, agriculture and skill development.
