Loaded ID bomb sent from Pakistan to Fazilka, batteries and timer also recovered, investigation continues

Punjab News: An IED bomb sent by a drone has been recovered in the India-Pakistan border area in Fazilka. The consignment filled with RDX also contains batteries and timers along with the bomb. When the bomb was found by BSF, it was recovered and handed over to the State Special Cell. After this they are investigating the matter.

According to the information, drone movement was seen near India-Pakistan border area Bahadurpur in Abohar sector of Fazilka. As soon as BSF got information about this, BSF searched the area and an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) bomb was recovered from the area.

Actually, about one kg of RDX was found in a tin box. Along with battery and timer. After its recovery by BSF, it has been handed over to the State Special Cell Police Station of Fazilka. They are further investigating the matter as to why this bomb was sent from Pakistan to India.
