Livelihood employment cum guidance fair concluded in rural areas, 341 candidates got registered

Saharsa, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). Jeevika, which is becoming the vehicle of social and economic change for women in the rural areas of the district, is now making their future bright by organizing employment fairs and providing employment opportunities to the youth.

BDO Sushil Kumar and BPM Ashish Thakur formally inaugurated the employment-cum-guidance fair of Jeevika by lighting the lamp at Lahthan Chaudhary College Campus, Baluaha Chowk, Mahishi under Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Scheme by Jeevika. In this, 15 different Stalls of companies were set up. In this, 341 youth registered themselves for employment. Of these, 223 youth were directly selected for employment. Similarly, 118 youth enrolled themselves for training for self-employment.

BDO Sushil Kumar said that due to livelihood, there has been awareness among women. Due to this, the benefits of government schemes are reaching them. Today, in order to earn a living, companies from India and abroad are coming to your house and giving jobs to young men and women. This is a very good thing.

Principal of Lahthan College, Ashok Kumar, said that this effort of Jeevika to provide employment to the youth is commendable. The youth should take advantage of such opportunities.
