Little children participated in the annual festival of Saraswati Shishu Mandir

Joshimath, April 11 (Hindustan Reporter) The annual festival of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Joshimath was celebrated with great pomp. In the function organized at Keshav Auditorium, the little Munne Bhaiya sisters presented spectacular presentations of many cultural programs including folk songs, folk dances, English drama, patriotic songs, Kumaoni songs, Luv Kush, yoga practice, Jagar and Bagadwal dance.

Krishnamani Thapliyal, member of the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Board, as the chief guest at the annual function, said that the only center of cultured education is Saraswati Shishu and Vidya Mandir, the students coming out of these schools run by Vidya Bharti are engaged in social service along with country service. The main speaker of the annual function, Principal of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Shambhu Prasad Chamola, in his concise address, highlighted in detail the objectives of establishing the Shishu Mandir. He said that Shishu Mandir was established in the year 1952 with the objective of imparting cultured education. Due to the continuous efforts of Vidya Bharati, the objectives are being fulfilled and now twelve and a half thousand Saraswati Shishu and Vidya Mandirs are being operated across the country. In which 36 lakh students are studying and 1.25 lakh teachers are providing services.

Chamola said that the students coming out of Shishu and Vidya Mandir are serving the nation by playing leading roles not only in administrative services but also in science and army.

Principal of Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Badri Singh Negi, while presenting the annual report of the school, expressed his gratitude to all the guests and parents present in the program.

In the annual function organized under the leadership of Acharya Sharda Prasad Tiwari and Omprakash, the school management committee covered the chief guest Krishnamani Thapliyal, special guest Hemkund Sahib Management Trust chief manager Seva Singh, program president Anil Kumar Aggarwal and key speaker Principal Shambhu Prasad Chamola with shawls and Was honored with a memento.
