Jaunpur, 30 September (His). Additional Sessions Judge First Anil Kumar Yadav on Monday sentenced father Jokhelal Dubey and his three sons Virendra, Monu and Ravindra to life imprisonment for shooting dead Pattidar Ram Kewal over a dispute over building a wall in Muzaffarpur Patti Chakesar village of Shahganj police station area. The sentence has been pronounced. A fine of Rs 18,000 each has been imposed on the culprits.
According to the plaintiff, the FIR regarding the incident was lodged by the deceased's brother Harivansh Dubey at Shahganj police station. The plaintiff was building a wall over his ancestral house. Due to the same rivalry, on March 10, 2019, at 10 pm, Pattidar Radheshyam alias Jokhelal Dubey and his sons Virendra alias Bhim, Monu, Ravindra, Dharmendra, Abhishek, Pawan and Vipin came to the door and heard arguments about building a wall and started abusing. Engaged. When the accused challenged their refusal, Virendra and Monu fired from the pistols in their hands, due to which the plaintiff's brother Ram Kewal, Ram Ugraha and nephew Arvind Dubey got shot. Brother Ram Kewal died and Ramugrah and Arvind were taken to the district hospital for treatment. The police investigated and filed the case diary in the court.
Government lawyer Sanjay Srivastava examined 12 witnesses in the court. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court sentenced the accused Radheshyam, his sons Virendra, Monu and Ravindra, finding them guilty of murder and attempt to murder. Since Pawan and Vipin were minors, the court had already separated their files and sent them to the Juvenile Justice Board. Dharmendra and Abhishek were acquitted by the court due to lack of evidence.
