Jaipur, 29 August (HS). Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh visited Hisar Military Station to review the operational preparedness of Dot On Target Division. The Army Commander was briefed by Major General Amit Talwar, General Officer Commanding, Dot On Target Division, about the operational aspects of the formation, specific technology investments and capability development initiatives.
According to Public Relations Officer (Defence) Jaipur (Rajasthan) Colonel Amitabh Sharma, the Army Commander appreciated the innovations adopted by the formation to prepare for future wars and emphasized the importance of modern technology in achieving victory. He reviewed the training methodology and also witnessed live training exercises. He appreciated the strong human-machine relationship developed through rigorous training.
The Army Commander visited the state-of-the-art Counter Drone Node and reviewed the training and exercises of the formation to counter the threat posed by drones. He was also briefed on the green initiatives and waste recycling practices of the Division contributing to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
During the interaction with the officers, JCOs and other ranks, the Army Commander praised their dynamism, professional excellence and devotion to duty. He exhorted all ranks to constantly strive for excellence, adopt the latest technologies and develop analytical thinking to excel in modern warfare.
