Let us beautify nature by planting trees: Rajni Tiwari

Jhansi, 20 July (HS). Trees keep the environment healthy and give us oxygen. Nature gives us a lot. Therefore, it is our duty to beautify nature with tree plantation. These views were expressed by Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari. While appealing to the people, she said that sometimes work for your soul. Do not work to get any certificate.

The Minister of State for Higher Education said that we should plant oxygen-giving trees like Peepal, Banyan, Mango, Guava, Pakar, Mahua and Neem etc. Every person and child should plant at least one tree in their life. He said that the Prime Minister has called upon us to plant a tree in the name of mother by connecting our sensibilities. While directly communicating with the children, he said that they should plant not just one but more than one tree and should also protect them. He said that looking at the expressions of the children, it seemed that they would do the same. He said that more than 36 crore saplings are being planted across the state.

He said that in this campaign, the society and every individual is supporting the government. Voluntary organizations are participating enthusiastically. He thanked everyone. He said that Tulsi plant has great importance in Sanatan Dharma. While appealing to the people, he said that sometimes work for your soul. Work to get a certificate.

With a bigger goal, we will save as many plants as possible

While talking to journalists, Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari said that the government is working with a big target of planting more than 36 crore saplings across the state. The government takes the target but the public gives its cooperation in achieving it. It is true that we are not able to keep all the plants alive. They are harmed in many ways and some percentage of them are also destroyed but still we are determined to save as many plants as possible. She said that the general public is participating enthusiastically in this work.

Along with planting trees, efforts are also being made to protect them

Principal Secretary K Ravindra Nayak said that 94.8 lakh saplings are being planted in the district. Like every year, this time too trees are being planted in the entire district with a big target and we will also try to preserve them completely.
