Narmada: With the increasing human population and destruction of forests, wild animals like leopards are now often seen among the human population. Then a leopard attacked an innocent 5 year old child of Khata Asitra village of Tilakwara taluka of Narmada district.
According to the information received in this regard, Smit Baria, a five-year-old child of a family living in Khata Asitra village of Narmada district, was attacked by a leopard. In which the panther caught Smit by the neck and dragged him 50 feet away into the cotton field.
Meanwhile, hearing Smit’s scream, his father came running. Who was shocked to see his son in the jaws of the leopard. After which, showing courage, the leopard ran away leaving his son.
In this attack, Smit suffered serious injuries on his neck due to the sharp teeth of the leopard. Therefore the child was first taken to Tilakwara Community Health Centre. Where after giving first aid he was shifted to Rajpipla Government Hospital when he felt the need for further treatment. Where the condition of the injured child is now said to be stable.
