Patna, 03 September (HS). Bihar Legislative Council Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh inaugurated the Babua Ji Memorial and Research Institute Seminar by lighting the lamp on Tuesday.
The Chairman said that Krishnaballabh Prasad Narayan Singh (Babuaji), who became synonymous with the activities of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Bihar, was born on 16 September 1914 in the house of Rai Bahadur Edal Singh in Rani Bigha village of Nalanda district. After the establishment of the Sangh, when Dr. Hedgewar came to Bihar for his treatment, he met Babuaji in Rajgir.
The Chairman said that Dr. Hedgewar had a very keen eye. He understood that Babua ji would be very useful for the work of the Sangh. Dr. Hedgewar first appointed him as the Sanghchalak of Gaya city. Thus, he joined the Sangh at the young age of 24 and then continued to work for the Sangh throughout his life.
Present in the program were Bihar Assembly Speaker and Babuaji Memorial and Research Institute Chairman Nandkishore Yadav, chief speaker former Rajya Sabha member Rakesh Sinha, Babuaji Memorial and Research Institute Trustee Dr. Mohan Singh, Rajkumar Sinha, Secretary Anand Prakash Narayan Singh, Vice President Jaswant Kumar, Chandra Mohan Khanna and Anand Prakash Narayan Singh etc.
