Security arrangements have been tightened from Deoghar to Ranchi and it is being considered as a huge historic step towards judicial transparency, digital revolution and easy access to justice for the general public in Jharkhand.
In the first phase of his tour, CJI Surya Kant will reach the religious and historical city of Deoghar. A huge mega legal services camp is being organized here under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA). The main objective of this camp is to make the underprivileged, poor, women and people of tribal community standing at the last rung of the society aware of their legal rights and to provide them free legal aid. In this mega camp, benefits of various government welfare schemes will also be distributed directly among the beneficiaries. Strict security arrangements have been made by the local administration and police for the arrival of CJI in Deoghar, in which senior police officers themselves are monitoring the security arrangements.
After the conclusion of the programs in Deoghar, CJI Surya Kant will head to the capital Ranchi. In Ranchi, he will inaugurate a state-of-the-art data center worth Rs 35 crore, designed with the aim of completely modernizing and digitalizing the Jharkhand High Court and subordinate courts of the state. This data center is equipped with state-of-the-art servers, high-speed connectivity, cloud storage and advanced cyber security systems. With its launch, all court records of Jharkhand will be stored securely in digital format. This will not only ease online tracking of cases but will also bring a revolutionary change towards e-filing, e-court hearings and instant availability of decisions.
Established in Ranchi at a cost of Rs 35 crore, this data center will take e-governance and modern justice system in Jharkhand to a new height. This data center will play an important role in the speedy disposal of pending cases in Jharkhand High Court and District Courts. With its implementation, now lawyers and petitioners will not have to wander for case status or digital evidence. With the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern data analytics, the speed of judicial processes will be faster. Legal experts believe that the inauguration of this ambitious project by Supreme Court CJI Surya Kant proves that the judiciary is now fully committed to ensuring speedy justice to the common man by adopting modern technology.
Huge enthusiasm is being seen in the administrative, legal and social circles of entire Jharkhand regarding this much-awaited visit of Chief Justice Surya Kant.
