Nainital, 27 July (HS). Under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority Nainital, a legal literacy and awareness camp and tree plantation was organized at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Takula located near the district headquarters on Friday. On this occasion, fruit and shade trees were planted at the place marked by the Forest Department and the school management took a pledge to protect and preserve the trees.
On this occasion, technical volunteer Yashwant Kumar gave detailed information on the working of the District Legal Services Authority and the side effects of drugs and other topics. During this time, the Secretary of the Authority, Beenu Guliani, gave information to the students and teachers on road safety and following traffic rules, Juvenile Justice Board, Child Helpline Number 1098 and other legal information.
Principal Nirmal Pandey, Anand Prakash of Forest Department, KL Arya, teacher Himani Arya and Harshit Joshi along with other colleagues were present in the camp.
