Lecture series on Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in DESNU

Haridwar 28 June (HS). Deputy leader of Norwegian Nobel Committee Dr. Asle Toje said that India has given the message of peace to the world. The message of peace is necessary to connect humanity and nature. He said that India is the center of spiritual flow and it is closest to my heart. Dr. Toje was addressing the lecture series program organized on the topic of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in the Mrityunjay Auditorium of Dev Sanskriti University as the chief guest.

Dr. Toje said that mobile phones have a great significance in our generation. We should use them not only for entertainment but also for creative work, to know the culture and for spiritual development. The legacy that India has preserved for the world as the carrier of Vedic culture is undoubtedly a symbol of positivity.

Earlier, Vice Chancellor of DESNU and Director of International Social Spiritual Forum formed by United Nations Organization (UNO) for world peace, Dr. Chinmay Pandya explained in detail the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam of Yugrishi Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya ji, the Chancellor of DESNU. He said that unity, equality, purity and affection are the main basis of Gayatri Parivar. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor honored Dr. Toje by presenting him a sheet with Gayatri Mantra written on it, Rudraksha rosary, souvenir etc.

Dr Toje studied Asia's only Baltic Centre and South Asian Institute established in DESNU. He expressed happiness over the activities being conducted by the Centre for Indian culture and world peace. He observed the Swavalamban workshop that inspires self-employment and prayed for world peace by worshipping Prajneshwar Mahadev. During this, Vice Chancellor Mr. Sharad Pardhi, Registrar Mr. Baldau Devangan along with all the department heads, many workers of DESNU and Shantikunj family were present. The stage was conducted by Dr. Ipsit Pratap Singh and Pratham Patil.
