Leaders and supporters expressed grief over the demise of Jharkhand's first Energy Minister Lalchand Mahato

Bokaro, 5 April (HS). Many leaders have expressed grief over the demise of Jharkhand's first Energy Minister, three-time MLA from Dumri and JDU leader Lalchand Mahato. JDU state president cum Rajya Sabha MP Kheeru Mahato reached his ancestral residence Bedkaro (Bermo) and paid tribute to him by offering flowers on his mortal remains.

On the occasion, JDU leader cum former minister Sudha Chaudhary, JDU state general secretary Shravan Kumar, state spokesperson Sagar Kumar, Dhanbad district president Pintu Singh, Girdih district president Tribhuvan Dayal, Bokaro district president Pradeep Mahato, Dhanlal Dubey and others also paid tribute.

On the demise of Lalchand Mahato, MP Khiru Mahato said that he was a leader of displaced people, farmers, laborers and backward classes and was a strong socialist. Worked with him in the same party for a long time. His demise is an irreparable loss for the politics of Jharkhand. Apart from this, leaders and supporters of other parties including RJD have also expressed grief over the demise of Lalchand Mahato.
