Lucknow, 24 July (HS). There was a power cut in Lucknow's court premises at 2 pm on Tuesday. After this, there was no power supply till evening. On Wednesday morning, when the advocates reached the court premises, they came to know that the power system has not been able to function properly yet. This caused anger among the advocates.

In the last 24 hours, the power supply in Kaiserbagh area was disrupted several times. During this time, the power supply was disrupted due to a broken wire in the court and it could not be repaired until 11 am on Wednesday. Advocates tried to talk to the junior engineer and employees of the electricity department but their phones kept showing busy.

Yagya Mani, who is contesting for the post of senior vice president of Lucknow Bar Association, said that the power supply in the court premises has stopped. Due to this, the fans in the advocates' chambers have stopped working. Due to which there is a very hot and humid atmosphere. Advocates are facing difficulty in working. They have contacted the sub-centre but no responsible officer has come there in the morning.

He said that if there is such a long power cut, it will hinder the work. In view of this, a call was made to the Executive Engineer for complaint but his phone was not reachable. In the interest of advocates, the power supply should be restored soon. So that advocates do not face any difficulty in getting up and sitting.

Advocate Vinay Kumar Tiwari in the civil court said that it rarely happens that the power supply does not resume after some time of the power cut. The power supply stopped on Tuesday and has not been restored till now. The weather is overcast and it is extremely humid. In this, the condition of the collectorate and court premises is getting worse due to the power cut.

He said that the responsible people of the electricity department should fix such problems as soon as possible. Like the court, the problem of power cuts is seen in other parts of the city too, it should also be fixed.
