Jaipur, September 21 (HS). A lawyer practising in Rajasthan High Court was threatened with death by a person over the phone. On this, the lawyer lodged a complaint in Ashok Nagar police station, but when the police did not take immediate action in the matter, the lawyers blocked the road outside the High Court premises. Later, the lawyers staged a sit-in protest on the spot and raised slogans against the police administration.
Advocate Atar Singh Gurjar said that one of his clients threatened him on mobile phone and threatened to shoot him when he comes out of the court. He complained about this to Ashok Nagar police station, but the police did not even register a report in the matter. When other lawyers came to know about this, they blocked the main road along with the victim lawyer. The lawyers say that after blocking the road, the police registered an FIR and identified the accused.
