The Chief Minister said that 2,29,139 posts have been approved in various categories to increase the strength of Bihar Police. 1,06,436 policemen are working. The remaining vacant posts should be filled soon. We have made a provision of 35 percent reservation for women in the police since 2013. Now the number of women in Bihar Police has increased to about 30 thousand. The participation of women in Bihar Police is the highest in the country. He said that due to the increase in the number of women in the police force, the women who come to the police stations with complaints are getting convenience in resolving their problems and their confidence is increasing. The posting of women officers and women police personnel should be ensured in every police station. He said that the work of land survey and settlement should be completed quickly so that the incidents of crime related to land disputes can be reduced completely.
